Family First

(June 18th ) Hello, LF family, we wanted to introduce a family in need on behalf of the Lovelock Foundation. This family embodies the values of our foundation, and we are committed to providing them with the support they need. If you could open your hearts to help by extending their Airbnb accommodations and providing essential items, it would be a true blessing. They are currently working with the Habitat of Humantiy to be able to rent a space. Thank you in advance for your generosity. As always, In unity there’s strength. God bless.

Meeting Travis & Stacy

June 25th, 2024 - The day finally arrived to meet with Travis and Stacy, and we couldn't be more excited or filled with gratitude. First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone reading this. Without your support and donations, what you're seeing and reading wouldn't exist, and for that, we are eternally grateful. We raised $1500 for this wonderful family to help with the extension of their Airbnb. This amount was paid directly to the owner of the unit, whom we contacted beforehand to explain our intentions.

As we approached the home, we had no expectations about what to expect. Upon entering, Ashley, the Outreach Director for LF, introduced Timothee to the family. Each child introduced themselves to us, and you could immediately feel the strong bond and love within the household. The children played with such innocence and joy, without a care in the world. After the introductions and sharing the foundation's backstory and our reasons for being there, the emotions within the couple were palpable. They expressed how deeply they were moved by our foundation family's efforts to help them.

As Stacy poured her heart out, we were reminded exactly why the foundation was created—in memory of Marie J. Timothee, to give back to the community and prioritize people and leading with faith. Stacy mentioned that their vulnerability was very hard on her and her family. This is a difficult challenge for anyone. Even when the foundation was started, we had to overcome this fear to stand in a position to support others, just as we are doing now.

They were filled with gratitude as we concluded our visit with a prayer. We thank God for this encounter and remain forever grateful.
